Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge

Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge is situated on a range of hills that form the western ranges of the Rift Valley, It is on the western side of Lake Nakuru and offers a vantage point view of the lake itself and the wooded and bushy grassland that characterizes the surrounding National Park.

Lake Nakuru National Park has been branded an international bird sanctuary; the first site to receive Important Bird Area (IBA) celebrity status in Africa in recognition of its outstanding value to bird conservation. It is home to over 450 varieties of birds and provides for about 56 different species of mammals, including the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, white rhino and buffaloes.

The lodge has a capacity maximum of 120 guests in 54 Twin/Double rooms, 06 Singles and 02 Wheelchair Rooms (designed with the physically challenged and elderly in mind). All Rooms have double-size beds, & balconies. Baby cots are available on request as are Triple rooms. Full-length windows allow guests a panoramic view of the park, Lake Nakuru and beyond. There is a furnished private balcony accessed through a rear glass door. From here, one can enjoy viewing animals that come to drink from a nearby watering hole.

The lounge, bar and dining room have extensive sheltered outdoor terraces. so you never have to miss out on experiencing the vast African plains.
